What We Do
KAINOS MISSIONS vision and objective is to plant churches and develop leaders.
We help fulfill the Great Commission by going and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), and help people live out the Great Commandment of loving God with all that they are and loving their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:37-40).
This objective and vision is accomplished by entering various cultures, sharing the good news of Christ, planting churches, and developing local leaders to continue to benefit future generations with the life changing message of the gospel.
“If you succeed without sacrifice it is because someone has suffered before you. If you sacrifice without success it is because someone will succeed after.”
— Adoniram Judson (Missionary to Myanmar)
Origin Story
In our initial founding we moved our family to Bangkok, Thailand with the goal of helping Thais
Plant churches in their own cities
Train leaders from their own people
During our time in Bangkok, we saw the value of being on the ground helping believers to take on the roles of leadership and be encouraged in their walk with God. We were able to create a lot of contacts and help some lost come to Christ, and believers take on the discipleship roles.
We also realized the power of setting pace and the need for pastors worldwide. We recognized the value of being in leadership shoes to help speak more into the lives of the leaders we were training.
Current Work
While being fully engaged in local church work in our own culture, we seek opportunities for short term projects where we can encourage leaders in multiple cultures to grow in their walk and develop as leaders in their own context. We are reminded that to reach the nations, we need to reach the pastors and their families in these cultures. We still maintain the same focus from our original initiatives:
Develop Leaders
Plant Churches
